24-hour emergency response

Commercial and industrial emergency response

Restore safe electrical operation with less avoidable disruption

Commercial and industrial failures can stop access, production, lighting or essential equipment. PTX identifies the electrical fault, controls immediate risk and works with the site contact and equipment specialists to restore the electrical supply safely and efficiently.

Emergency electrical line604-700-3142

Tell us the hazard, affected system, operating impact, access contact and safe observations.

Fire, smoke, injury, entrapment or immediate danger?Leave the hazard area and call 911 or the responsible emergency service first.

Situations we respond to

Start with what failed and how it is affecting the property.

01

Elevator power-supply failures

PTX investigates the building electrical supply, disconnects, breakers and accessible distribution serving the elevator. Entrapment is an emergency-services matter, and elevator machinery remains the elevator contractor’s scope.

02

Factory and production-line power

Troubleshooting of the facility electrical supply, circuits, disconnects and controls feeding production equipment, with the equipment specialist involved where the fault is inside the machine.

03

Partial or complete outages

Diagnosis of failed services, distribution, breakers, feeders or local circuits affecting critical operating areas.

04

Lighting and control failures

Response to sudden outages, unstable lighting, failed drivers, contactors, timers, sensors and controls in work, exterior, parking and security areas.

05

Smoking, overheating or burning odours

Immediate isolation and investigation of unsafe fixtures, panels, connections, controls or other accessible electrical equipment after any active fire condition is controlled.

06

Repeated trips and unstable circuits

Fault-finding when a circuit will not remain energized or equipment operation repeatedly interrupts the electrical supply.

The response

Control the risk, identify the boundary and establish the repair.

PTX communicates what is known, what has been made safe and what must happen next.

01

Understand the operating impact

Confirm what failed, which areas or processes are affected, what can be safely shut down and who controls site and equipment access.

02

Collect the useful operating facts

Identify when the failure began, alarms or trips observed, equipment that was operating, previous resets or repairs, available diagrams and the facility or equipment specialist who can authorize access.

03

Isolate the electrical risk

Make affected electrical equipment or circuits safer while considering the consequences of shutdowns elsewhere in the operation.

04

Diagnose the actual boundary

Determine whether the fault is in the building supply, circuit, controls or connected equipment so the correct trade and repair path are clear.

05

Restore or plan the repair

Complete authorized work where materials and conditions allow, or document the interim state, required parts, specialist coordination and permanent repair scope.

Frequently asked questions

Clear boundaries during an urgent call.

Is commercial response available outside regular hours?

Yes. PTX provides 24-hour emergency phone response and dispatch for urgent commercial and industrial electrical conditions, subject to technician availability, safe access and regional conditions.

Should staff keep resetting a breaker that controls lighting or equipment?

No. Repeated tripping indicates a condition that should be investigated. Keep people away from smoke, heat, arcing or damaged equipment and call emergency services first if there is immediate danger.

Can the repair always be completed during the first visit?

Not always. Safe temporary restoration may be possible, but proprietary equipment, special parts, broader shutdowns, utility involvement or another specialist can require a planned follow-up.

Can PTX get people out of a stalled elevator?

Call 911 or the elevator emergency service for an entrapment. PTX can diagnose and restore the building electrical supply serving the elevator, but elevator rescue and elevator machinery are not electrical-contractor work.

Do you work around operating production facilities?

Yes. PTX coordinates with the authorized site contact, considers shutdown effects and defines the boundary between the facility electrical system and proprietary production equipment.

Do you handle more than commercial lighting?

Yes. PTX responds to outages, distribution and circuit failures, elevator electrical supplies, production-equipment feeds, controls, panels, lighting and other urgent commercial electrical conditions.

What should the site provide when requesting emergency service?

Provide the address, affected areas or process, safe observations, electrical and equipment identifiers, recent alarms or resets, shutdown consequences, access and authorization contacts and any specialist already involved.
