The need

The property needed restoration-related electrical inspection work. The recorded job evidence supports an assessment of the existing parts and a clear record of what was suitable to retain. It does not document completed replacement or installation of new pot lights.

PTX's approach

PTX inspected the electrical items, identified the good parts and set those parts aside for potential reuse. The findings were recorded in a Restoration Inspection Report with pictures, along with an attached follow-up quote. Three Juno 5–6 inch retrofit LED pot lights were suggested as a possible option; the job record does not show that they were installed.

The recorded result

The restoration inspection was completed successfully. Serviceable parts were preserved, and the documented report and pictures provided a practical record for the follow-up quote. This kept the decision focused on the condition of the parts rather than assuming everything needed replacement.

What this job helps another property owner consider

A restoration-related electrical visit can be useful even when the recorded outcome is inspection and preservation rather than completed replacement. Ask what was inspected, which parts remain serviceable and what the report and follow-up quote are based on before approving additional work.
