The need
The existing TV had been damaged after a cat bit its corner, destroying the receiving signal and leaving the TV inoperable. The old TV and brackets needed to be removed before the replacement installation could begin.
PTX’s approach
The technician unboxed the new TV, measured repeatedly to position the wall bracket, then moved the bracket 1.25 inches before making the wall opening. A hole was also cut in the bottom cabinet to bring the wiring through. Five HDMI cables and one power cable were routed through the wall. The team installed a new outlet in a 1110 box, drilled through the base media cabinet for the sound bar wiring, created a precise new 3/4-inch opening for the sound bar media and power cables, and mounted the sound bar and TV.
