Documented field work
Installation details and completed work

The need
The work involved several property repairs: a furnace closet door needed repair, the toilet control needed replacement, and the pocket door track could not be repaired. Access to the back end of the pocket door was required to remove the old track and install the replacement.
PTX's approach
The recorded work included picking up the required material, repairing the closet door, replacing the toilet control, and replacing the pocket door track and hardware. Because the pocket door required access through the drywall, an opening was made to reach the back of the door pocket. PTX then repaired the drywall and caulking and repainted the area.
The recorded result
The furnace closet door was repaired, the toilet control was replaced, and the pocket door received a new track and hardware. The drywall, caulking and painted finish were also repaired after the pocket-door work.
What this job helps another property owner consider
A door problem may involve the track or hardware behind the finished wall rather than just the visible door. If access is needed, the repair may also include restoring drywall, caulking and paint after the underlying work is complete.
