detailReceptacle test confirms 120 VAC and correct wiring.

The need

The documented work involved reconnecting an outlet in the kitchen sink cabinet box for a dishwasher. The existing cabinet needed a hole drilled so the wire could pass through as part of the reconnection.

PTX's approach

PTX drilled the cabinet hole, reinstalled the 1110 box and reinstalled the receptacle. The breaker was then turned on so the receptacle could be checked as part of the completed service work.

The recorded result

The receptacle was tested and was working properly. The recorded scope was an outlet reconnection for the dishwasher, not a panel upgrade or a broader electrical installation.

What this job helps another property owner consider

When an appliance outlet needs attention, the useful first step may be to have the existing connection assessed and the required repair clearly explained. This job shows a documented reconnection followed by a check that the receptacle was working properly; another property may require different work.
