Documented field work
Before, rebuild and recorded result

The need
Vehicle damage affected the property's power and also required carpentry repairs. The electrical work needed to restore service included addressing the meter-base location and the cable route to the existing breaker panel.
PTX's approach
PTX completed the agreed electrical scope by relocating the meter base, supplying and installing a disconnect in the meter base, and installing exterior cable from the new meter-base position to the existing breaker panel location. The related carpentry repairs following the vehicle service strike were also completed.
The recorded result
Power was restored after the vehicle damage. The completed electrical work left the meter base in its new location, with the disconnect at the meter base and the exterior cable run connected to the existing breaker panel location. The recorded carpentry repairs were completed as part of the same project.
What this job helps another property owner consider
When vehicle damage affects electrical service, ask whether the meter-base location and cable route also need to be addressed. This project shows that restoring power may involve coordinating electrical work with related carpentry repairs, rather than treating the damaged area as an electrical task alone.
