The need

The recorded scope was to supply and install a spotlight. The existing exterior light fixture needed to be disconnected and removed before the replacement work could proceed.

PTX's approach

PTX Electric picked up the required material, disconnected and removed the existing exterior fixture, then installed the new motion light. The light was set up, and the settings on the motion light in the alley were also checked and adjusted.

The recorded result

The new motion light was tested and recorded as working properly. The alley motion light settings were adjusted as part of the same electrical service call, completed in Burnaby on November 4, 2026.

What this job helps another property owner consider

When replacing an exterior motion light, the installation is only one part of the work. This job also included setting up and testing the new light, along with checking the settings on another motion light nearby. That is a practical detail to discuss when planning similar exterior lighting work.
